Let us take a JOURNEY

Together you and I will stand

I will share the stories of my people

Stories of our connection to this land

For not all journeys are about

A start, a time, an arrival, a place

Some journeys are the connections we make

The conversation that we will have

When we stand together in this shared space

For I will acknowledge you and be respectful

You will acknowledge me and be kind

You will tell me your story and I will tell you mine

It is in the telling that you will know me

It is in the listening you will understand

This is how we reconcile and become one

Both belonging to this land
