In 2005 I was invited by Black Ink Press in Townsville to complete the illustrations of a children’s book called Turtle Egg Day. Black Ink Press is an indigenous publishing company which specializes in young adults and children’s books.  The story was originally written by Ruth Thompson who had also competed some of the illustrations. Sadly she died before the book was complete and her family approached Black Ink to finish the book.
